If God is someone we hope to meet at some point in our future because of a prayer we said somewhere in our past we have missed the point of Him seeking a relationship with us. We have cheapened the sacrifice of Jesus and taken something of greatest worth and treated it like something of little value. If we live out each day without God in any of our thoughts can we really say that we know God, or is it more accurate to say we only know about God. And perhaps some day God will say to us, I never knew you.
